sometimes people should be proactive when it comes to things.
When I first started my job they had me troubleshooting our AS400 billing system. Mind it, that mainframe was developed before I was made but, I took the initiative to learn it without complainining about it and I've been given raises and such due to my determination in learning new things.
Take it as a challenge, and use the internet as a tool to find answers to your troubleshooting questions.
