I actually beg to differ on that. There was a customer who frequented the Ferrari dealer I used to work at that owned Ferrari's for 20+ years. He bought his first Lamborghini in 2002 and has never had a single problem with it, 40,000 miles on the odometer.
His Ferrari's were/are consistently in the shop for repairs.
But then again this is just one owner
