yeah, ive burned out bushings before then knocked out the lining after its been heated up with a torch. make sure you take measurements so ur trailing arm isnt sitting funnt. id also rec. OEM bushings over uerethane. ou cars dont like the fancy bushings in the trailing arms, ive heard they make the rear end unstable and can cause binding. im sure someone else has heard of this/experienced this before.
