If you've never been to MI, you have to actually make a U-turn in a U-turn lane to go left on the 'mile road' boulevards instead of just taking a left at the traffic light of the intersecting road. So I was waiting to pull out and there was really heavy traffic, and after waiting 2 minutes I decided just to waste the gas and floor it so I could get home sometime today.
All the traffic was doing ~50-60 and there was about a 200 foot opening between a minivan and a new Lexus GS...so I pulled out squealing the tires in first, upshifted to 2nd at 4k to get the tires under control and all of a sudden NOTHING...no power, just fucking rolling along at 25MPH with a Lexus coming up my ass. I thought the engine had stalled or I had blown something up. I looked down and the fucking traction control light was flipping out

The asshole system completely cut the throttle and I almost got rear ended. I felt so embarassed

The end.
Cliffs: Traction control systems are worthless and cause accidents.
