Sounds like you're not removing the head to replace the seals. Are you using compressed air to hold valves up or rope in the chamber? I used rope when I recently did mine and I installed the seals dry. I'm thinking I should have lubed them, but it's too late for me. I am curious as to how it supposed to be done.

Are you loosing any noticable amount of oil? I'm not sure if I would redo the seals unless you are. How much smoke out the exhaust is there? Is it when you're accelerating or deccelerating? Is it blue, black or white?
