I need to torque something to 7 lb-ft.

My torque wrench's lowest setting is 120 inch ft-lbs which equals 10 ft-lbs of course.

If I turn the wrench a little below that 120 inch ft-lb setting, will it ruin the wrench or would it have to be significantly lower than that "lowest setting" for it to come undone?
