I am not 100%, but I am not sure if Apexi has started using fully stainless steel piping on their exhausts. If not, the difference is the WS2 is mild coated steel and the Evo 2 is fully stainless steel piping. I don't have pictures right at the moment but I will get some.
All 94-01 LS exhausts fit the 01 GSR.
WS2 is mild coated steel. Was just under my car the other day doing the oil (mess free by the way, woo hoo!!!) and can confirm this. Looks good too. As long as you live in a dry tundra (CA) it'll be fine.
One main difference between the WS2 and EVO2 is the fact that the WS2 is a chambered exhaust which will be more quiet and out more power
wheras the EVO2 is straight though, louder and less powerful.
