Default New CAI Issues

Hello, I have a 2003 Accord 4cy/auto. Earlier this week I installed a K&N Typhoon CAI on my car. Except for this intake the car is completely stock. I have put CAI on 2 other vehicles (2500HD truck and Spyder) but never had them act the way this one does. I have tow main issues with my CAI and I was wondering if someone could tell me if this is normal.

1. The is a loud humming droning noise that occurs when the car is either in park, or in gear and at a stop light. As soon as I get going (RPM's increase) it goes away and the normal CAI "sucking/wooshing" begins. This constant humming sound while at stop lights is fairly annoying. Is this normal or is something not installed correctly?

2. The CAI sounds good from just above idle all the way to about 3500-4000 RPM's then it gets really loud. Again, is this normal or is something not installed correctly? This issue doesn't bother me I just want to make sure that everyone else's CAI's do the same thing.

I was expecting this CAI to work like the others that I installed (no noticeable increase in power, but a nice "throatier" sound) but this one has me wondering. I probably wouldn't have installed it if I would have known it was going to make the very annoying droning/humming sound at idle:doh:

Thanks in advance
