stupid me... a lesson for you
I needed to do a tune up... i took off the cap, one of the screws broken in half... still inside the thread ( thinking the last owner had to too tight). Then I took out the rotor and screwed in the new one too tight, the thread broke off. The cap wiggles but wont come off. So I just keep it on. If I do take it off, there's no way i'll be able to put it back on since the broken screw is still stuck on the thread. I think it might still work...
I put the new cap on... (remember I only now have 2 screws to screw the cap on, since the one already broke w/ half the screw still in the thread). I put on one... then the 2nd and that breaks in half (screwed in too tight). So i got one screw holding the distributor cap on... start it up.. running fine right now.
so i'm basically f'cked... i'm gonna get a use distrubutor or like 75$....
