:hsdunno: it was still moving after 4 shots, so I felt one more was necessary.
As for burning it, I didn't know what else to do with it. I assume its venom is still harmful for a few days. The cats could have dug it up and carried it around or the raccoons might have ate it. I sure as hell didn't want it stinking up my trash can.
And I suppose it was a poor excuse to play with gas.
