most states do require a form of payment when you do that ... i know in MI there was a guy who almost got fined because he switched over to vegatable oil ... i mean it kinda makes sense
the state makes the money to keep roads in good condition through the tax on fuel ... people dont use the fuel yet still use the roads ... they should still have to pay that tax everyone else is paying
