Kestrel, how do you like the Garmin Forerunner 201? I ordered one the other day, seems pretty sweet. Can it be strapped around the bicep rather than the wrist?
I have a 101. The 201 has a built in battery, I think. You need to be pretty religious about charging it, there isn't much warning before it turns off. In densely wooded areas, it will lose GPS signal. I don't think it will fit around your bicep (unless you have really small biceps). But other than that, it's a nice way to monitor and pace your runs.
