Love the F23A4 engine, yes, the low end torque is a bit weak, but as posters here have said, the 4500-6000 range rocks and the reliability and mileage are great as well, just did my 90k maintenance and the engine is still purring and very responsive, I can't detect any loss in compression yet at all.
