not to scare you but, i had a similar problem on my teg...s1 trannny. It ended up being that the pin that hold the differential together was sheered a little bit or something and so i had the same symptoms as you. I kept driving it and the differential blew apart one day and completely screwed up my tranny. So you might want to get that checked somehow. cheers
