I disagree... have you ever been? the inside of the castle is quite amazing the art work is nice. The grandeur of it inside is amazing but the most impressive thing about versaille is the gardens. 2000 fountains and the size of the garden is unbaleivable. man made lakes that the king used to put some of its boat on. The mirror in the mirror hall considering that mirrors was a very expensive luxury back then. The the opera house is splendid all made of wood with a retracting floor.
to date on this trip i have been to Paris, munich, budapest and Versaille is the most impressive thing i have seen. Even addingall teh otehr places i have visited Versaille is way up there. If anyone goes to Paris they need to put 1 day aside and visite this place.
