I personally have the Eibach Pro-kit with Koni Yellow setup. It's awesome. I have it set at one full turn from all stiff and the handling is seriously great. I drove on some mountain roads and the car handled like a dream. As for stiffness, Koni Yellows are adjustable so there's that option.

Another ride I've sat in for a 5th gen is GC Coilovers with KYB AGXs. This is another one of my favorite setups...very very nice, stiff enough for great handling, but definitely still comfortable.

If you're concerned about ride height, Koni Yellows have lower perches which add another ~0.59" to the drop, bringing the ride height to approx 1.8" with prokits. I have my setup like this and it gives me about 1 finger gap in the rear and 1.5 finger gap in the front with 18's.
