MINEOLA, N.Y. - A man who plotted to have his wife killed before Christmas so he could enjoy the holidays without her got 5 to 15 years in prison yesterday.

Santhosh Paul, 32, pleaded guilty, admitting he told an undercover cop in December he would pay $200,000 to have his wife killed before Christmas, so he could wrap up the mourning before the holidays, prosecutors said.
