so a couple months ago we put bird feeders in the backyard, which has attracted a bunch of birds... and ever since then, we've had about 6 or so casualties... where birds fly directly into the windows on the back of the house...fall to the ground and die, some end up in the pool. today, i heard a loud bang, thinking it was the kid from the house above throwing rocks again (happened before)... i went outside and the noise i heard was a significantly sized orange/black bird hitting the window... and was now on the sidewalk, suffering an unpleasant death.

So what should i do? If i somehow mount an owl on the roof... will this help? The windows are tinted, creating a mirror-like effect, which may be another cause.
EDIT: SAVE THE BIRDS
