I own a 01 Yamaha r6 but I tried my buddy's 2004 FZ6. It's a nice bike... It depends on what you plan to do with it and how you want to ride. The FZ6 engine is the opposite of the R6. Low rpm torque but doesn't seem to like going above 10000rpm as the opposite of the R6 that love to scream. For someone who like to travel or riding around not aggressively it's a great bike.
