i highly would recomend for you to get that (water)bypass thing (if you can divide your intake tube into 2. cause you can easily run water in to ur motor. but if not, ur better off w/ just a short ram intake.

In my opinion the difference b/w cold and short ram intake:

CAI = very little high end power gain (you can feel it), sounds awesome, but not worth it.
= extremely high chance of you running water into the motor and destroying it.

SAI = barely any gain (can feel a little difference) Sounds great (totally worth it if you want the sound)
= extremely little or no chance of destroying your motor.

so its up to you.

i ran water into my motor twice w/ CAI.

once rain started pounding very hard and right before i was about to pull over into a shelter to take it off, it hit a huge puddle

second time there was a fire hydrant(how ever its spelled) was broken and poured a s*** load of water on the street. (got me by big surprise)

ur motor will suck in water as soon you hit the puddle and it will shut off, but some how i got super lucky and my valves or rods didnt mess-up.
