allright my friends got an old accord?(i think) that he turned into a buzz car for our local track to race in and he's having problems misfiring in the high rpms. i can't identify the actual year and model anymore b/c it's been on the track for a few years,but heres what i know it looks like a DOHC nonvtec motor and his dad said the guy he got it from said it was a stock 2.0L motor and none of the engine codes can be found anymore on it(trust me i know where to look that's why i'm helping him b/c i'm the only person at that track that knows anything about hondas) so my questions are simply what might cause it to misfire in the high rpms and does anyone have a clue of the engine code? i kinow this is vague, but i'm trying to help this kid out b/c he has yet to finish a race b/c of his car giving out on him. plz help me with any info you may have.
