i had a similar problem with my car clicking from the engine, after i had my valves adjusted it was still present, the mechanic at the honda dealer noticed that there was little pieces of grit and rock on the inside of the belts, after changing them the clicking went away. You might want to check that too. I'll try posting pictures of the rocks embedded in the belts when I get home from work.
