Can't help with the interchange, but if you find out that it will fit, I have one off my 92 4 dr LX 5 speed. I just took it off 5 minutes ago.

If you remove the airbag (using the safety precautions), there are some plugs for the horn buttons that you can check/cleanup. Also check all of the connections going to the wheel. I can imagine these things go bad, but you never know.

Maybe check on hondaautomotiveparts.com and see if the numbers are the same for the Del Sol/Civic or Del Sol auto vs manual???
