Hello,
My gf has a 2002 Civic EX that is making a creaking noise when the clutch pedal is depressed and released. It also makes a popping noise when depressed. Am I correct in assuming this is the clutch pedal spring being worn out?

If so, how much do they cost, where can I order one online, what is the part number, and can anyone give any instructions on how to replace it?
