ok, no cutting of springs. I just got the Sprints 1.5" versions, and also new GR2 struts. Now another problem, re: the rear lower strut mounts bushings. After 150k on the original struts, the bolt was rusted solid inside the lower bushing. I had to cut the old struts off at the bottom. The bolt came out with the steel insert rusted to it, leaving only the old dried out rubber part in the hub. Since that is a pressed in bushing, how difficult is it to remove the hub assembly so I can get new bushings pressed in? This happened on both sides (grrrrrrr). Need to get this car back together before Sunday!
