the box for packaging is a bit of a close fit, but it should be ok. i'm reinforcing it and of course the alternators will be wrapped in bubble wrap, so the only thing to worry about is a deep puncture. i couldn't find any other box that was as appropriate. be sure to let me know that things get to you ok.
