No I stay away from the bay area that place is a logistical nightmare for me.
I am crossing the northern area at Shasta to cut across to Reno by way of Susanville (High plateau).
I had thought about going through Sac then up 80 to reno but it takes too long and traffic is too heavy.
its not THAT bad, not as bad as say socal... but yea something that you'd want to avoid if possible..
