255.255.255.0 is the default for a class C

Class A - 1.x.x.x - 126.x.x.x has a default of 255.0.0.0
Class B - 128.x.x.x - 191.x.x.x has a deafult of 255.255.0.0
Class C - 192.x.x.x - 223.x.x.x has a default of 255.255.255.0

I dont remember if 127 falls in A, B or neither.... and my textbook is pretty vague about it.
