That is what my ex has. She has been riding it since september and she too is wanting a bigger bike. The rebel is rarely a kept motorcycle I think. What is your build?

I would seriously suggest that if you want to stay in the cruiser world after you learn get a shadow 600 and up. The rebel is small...and I mean SMALL. The engine can hold my ex but when I ride it, it is boggy and also it vibrates a LOT.

Don't get me wrong...it is a WONDERFUL starter bike, but you can get a mid 90's Shadow for the price of a rebel and will work just as well.

I am 5' 11" 180lbs and I had a 1995 Shadow VLX600.

Remember...you can drive a 600 as a 250 AND a 600...but you can't ride a 250 like a 600...
