I was wondering if any of you run a 50 series tire on your accord with a 15 inch rim? I want to get kumho 205/50/15, but the guy at tire rack says they don't meet the weight capacity for my car, but i've been running the 205/55/15 with no problem for 30,000 miles and there capacity is only 50 pounds more than the 50 series. Anyway the 50 series max capacity per tire is 1168 pounds, I know the 4 cyl accord weighs around 3,000 pounds, but how much of the weight rests on the front tires? I'm seriously doubting the front carrys 2/3s of the total weight.
