Hey all,

What can cause the ebrake and TCS light to show up on my dash, with in moving the car 5ft. I can start the car and those lights dont stay on (the go on then off). Once I move the car 5ft, both the e-brake and TCS light go on. 1st the ebrake, then the TCS light.


I checked the e-brake switch under the handle and it looks fine. Nothing bent, dirty or faulty from what I could tell. I also removed the wire from the switch, grounded it, pluged it back in, still nothing.

Im just trying to get an idear of what it might be because Im about to take it into the stealship and dont want to get rapped by them.

Anyone have this issue before? Any suggestions?

PS: I also checked the brake fluid, cap and drop thingy. Its full, the cap is on right, and the drop thingy moves up and down fine.
