Not using them can also explain why the original poster notices increased coolant usage. I noticed the same on my Accord. A switch to the extended life solved that problem.
Ok, what did u mean by "poster" in the last paragraph there? Increased coolant usage? What exactly does that mean, do u mean the engine is leakin coolant and blowing seals leading to increased coolant usage? J/W

So u recommend Prestone Ext. Life right?
