if your going boost and want the safest approach look at sleeving the block.
and going boost and building from ground up best bet is just to start clean and look at all new everything.
internally on a boosted application big items are
forged rods
low compression forged pistons
rings
bearings
seals
with boost comes a need for more fuel...so injectors are something to research, also probably want to look at a upgraded fuel pump.
headwork wise you can run stock initially and be ok...but down the road a turbo cam as well as upgraded valvetrain is always nice.
and dont forget a free-flowing exhaust
