Technically you void it, but there no tamper-proof stickers covering the screws. I even read about people getting RMA's on Wii's that were obviously opened up. It's still risky though...prices for things like wiikey will probably come down if you wait anyway.

Right now as of Chapter 1 if you stomp a bad buy and he'll take more than 1 hit you can shake the controller for mario to do a combo hit.
Also if you find a row of coins don't be eager to just collect them as if you go into the 3d mode you may find you can get double or triple of what you see.
