on the sub-compact models, i find the extensions almost a necesity to give the pinky a place to rest & give added control, but never cared for them on the compact or full-size models cause to me they made it a bit harder to conceal the gun :dunno:
only holster i have for the g34 is OWB and my shirts arent long enough to conceal the muzzle so if i carry it, it'll be open anyway.
