Best place to get a new clutch put in? I've heard things about taking Hondas to only Honda mechanics, unless you are doing it yourself (the latter is not going to happen this time around - I looked at the DIY and although I've done maintenance stuff and a lift on my Jeep (civic suspension coming soon, I will try to tackle that) and such I've never touched a clutch job, and being in the midst of exams for med school - aint no way!!) so...
Use all Honda OEM parts and get dealer to do whole job (expensive but w/ warranty - but like that matters on a civic w/ 245K on it, and I drive at least 20K a year)
Get parts myself, (clutchcityonline, OEM replacements but w/ no warranty for Honda labor) and get Honda dealer to do it
Or get parts from clutchcityonline.com and just find any old mechanic to do it.
Cost? Dealer looks like it might be around $400 for labor, $300 for parts ($200 if I do it online). I skimped on a rebuilt M/C and it messed up, so I'm already hesitant to get "OEM-like" replacements...
What did yall do who were in a pinch and had to get someone to put the clutch in? Either way, this looks like a job that is going to eat up my tax refund

thanks
