No offense to you but for the sake of MMA I hope you're wrong. I really would hate to see it go that way. I cant stand WWF for the reasons you have mentioned. Boxing is cool but I like the versatility of MMA.
I hope I am wrong too because it would really kill the fighting world for a long time. when I say that I don't just mean MMA but boxing and others would feel the hit as well.
the rumours abound everywhere. Maybe they are just two guys with Italian blood, but coming up virtually out of nowhere and running a huge organization in the US tends to lead to speculation. the bigger part of this being that the fight world is notoriously close quartered with mob connections and not too many go anywhere without some type of tie in no matter how seemingly small it is.
I dunno, I may be wrong and I really hope I am, but I have to go with my gut on this one.
