well a turbo can destroy your ringlands on a stock block it all depends on how much you boost. if you run nitrious and you don't go overboard its just as reliable as a turbo, so I would have to disagree with you on that one. both are efficent ways of adding reliable power, the only difference is one is limited by a bottle. if anything nitrious is more reliable, there are less things that can happen. with a turbo you actual turbo seal could go, dumping oil into your intake causing some damage to your motor. the hight boost on a turbo can fry your internals, or punch a hole thru your block. you need a proper tune to run a turbo setup safely. with nitrious, you slap on the kit, switch to colder plugs, run some premium gas and your ready to go. Sure if you go crazy you can cause damage, the chances of having an electrical or mechanical gremlin pop up from nitrious vs a turbo is less. now if constant power is a must then go the turbo route, there is no supercharger avaliable for the 6th gen accord 4cyl.
