Let's see YOUR ESTIMATES or the GOVERNMENT'S ESTIMATES then. How did I pull it out of my ass? I clearly showed where it came from. I'll go over it again because you were too dumb to get it the first time.

Hahaha, I found an even better number that totally disproves this.

http://autos.canada.com/news/story.h...0-274a94801afe

"Only 11,888 consumers bought a big SUV in Canada last year, representing less than 1 per cent of 1.3 million vehicles sold."

I estimated 10%. See, my calculation was way in your favor. Instead of just shutting up, you had to make me find facts.

I already showed you that cars account for 18% of all canadian greenhouse gas emissions

1% of 18% is .18%. If you converted those into cars which are about 33% more efficient (20v30MPG), you're looking at about a .12% reduction in greenhouse emissions. At the expense of consumer freedom.

Like I said, this bill won't make a damn bit of difference and way passed just to make political headlines. That's all.

What am I not taking into consideration that would considerably change this number? Please explain, you're obviously smarter than I am.
