The general population of Canada is pretty fucking retarded already if they support your health care system and your extensive social welfare system. I doubt most Canadians have a firm grasp on economics and the benefits of laissez-faire and a free market economy. It's not the general population who makes these decisions anyway, it's the politicians.

My argument is that there aren't going to be any tangible benefits, except at most (and this is a very, very lenient estimate imagining that all SUVs are taken off the road for cars) a 1% reduction in greenhouse gases. You haven't shown me otherwise. I don't get it.
