Do it enough and you will enjoy the gaps in the doors from the twisting that occurs. In unibody vehicles the doors are part of the lateral ridgidity of the vehicle and an inherent part of structural design. So unibody vehicles are not legal to go doorless since it removes almost all crash safety as well.
this is very true.
i've always wondered (sarcasm aside), does rolling with the windows down affect structural intregrity as well? of course it wont be a huge amount.
i guess a good test would be to take your rear windows out (like in coupes) and weld sheet metal there and see what it does for rigidity
