Not sure where you're located but it might not matter. I'd put an ad in Craig's List under Services and ask your question about your washer. I might just put the ad under a big city near by, you'll get the most traffic that way. There are a lot of trade folks other there that happen across those listings. Someone is bound to have an educated suggestion for you regarding the spin cycle issue. Or, you could put a barter ad on there, trade a service for a service. You could just list services like dog walking lets say, in trade for a washer diagnostic/repair.

As far as the pooch is concerned, it probably stressed him out a bit being in a new groomer. From the sounds of his health issues he's physically sensitive to changes in his environment. I'd just keep an eye on him for a few days. If the symptoms persist or worsen or he gets more nose bleeds then maybe take him to the vet. Plus the season is changing, and that can really be a doozy for my sinuses I can only imagine it does the same for animals.
