2.)Your reply to this and my e-mail was that you didn't want to waste you precious time arguing with me.

3.)If you want to say I went "back on my word" on a public forum, you'd better be able to back your accusations.

4.)If you want to argue them, I will post our entire IM conversation right here.

5.)Obviously you haven't done many Internet transactions. People do not hold items for you just because you give them an offer.

6.)I told you, as clear as a bell, in our IM conversation: "I'm selling them to the highest offer on Monday, unless someone purchases them for my asking price before then."

7.)Again, show me where we had any kind of agreement in our IM conversation, and I will gladly admit fault. Until then you are just spewing out crap about someone you don't know. If you want to argue with me, then go ahead, I will make you look stupid.

1.)I find it funny how the original thread was deleted. Doesn't really matter why, just make you wonder, I guess it's a timing thing.

2.) Let me be very clear about this, the only reason I felt the need to respond w/the facts about our IM conversation was because you posted something about it and ended the post with " I don't expect you to respond to this." As if I have something to hide or am wrong. The fact remains then as it does now, we agreed on a price for the sell, all that was left was for you to confirm w/me that your c2it account was set up and ready to go so I could send you the money. I mean, why else would you set up, or attempt to according to you, a c2it account(my preferred method of payment, which you didn't yet have an account with) if you hadn't intended on selling the speakers to me? I know im not going to set up any account for anyone or anything just because someone "gave me an offer" for something im selling. Beyond that, I didn't feel the need to further this disagreement as you had already sold the speakers and I had since bought a set of my own. I was hoping you'd see my intent not to further the discussion and let it go, didn't happen like that.

3.) Back em how? By posting the im conversation we had? Since you kept it, you can post it in it's entirety, I have no problem with that, just make sure you post it all, not just the parts you want to post. I, unfortunately didn't keep it, but I know what was said, not like we had a big long, drawn out conversation. Please post it.
What reason would I have to say this if it wasn't true? Because I wasn't able to buy your old, used components for the same amount it cost me to buy a set of newer, higher model components from the same manufacturer? Give me a break, you actually did me a favor, thanks. I just have a problem w/people who have no integrity and go back on their word for a couple dollars.

4.)Please post it, I would appreciate it. Post ALL OF IT, not just the parts that would seem to back up your false claim of us not making a deal.

5.) You are correct, I wouldn't consider 4 transactions w/private parties online "many", nor would I consider the 3 ebay transactions I have completed "many". However, all 7 times, I offered an amount of money the seller agreed with, upon which the items were considered sold. I got my ex alloys from "elgo" on this board, I gave my offer, he accepted it, he held them for me until I picked them up and paid for them. I got my baffles, rca's and free stickers from "WiLL" on this board(Good looking out on the stickers bro, gained a few hp), gave my offer, he accepted, held for me until payment rcvd. Every transaction was the same, all 7. Ours was a little different, I gave my offer, you didn't accept the first one, said you had rcvd higher offers already. Gave another offer, again didn't accept it, said you would wait until monday to see if anyone offered more or bought them for your asking price before then, I then responded with an offer that was for your asking price plus shipping, YOU DID NOT REFUSE THIS OFFER. You agreed and attempted to set up your c2it acct so payment could be transferred. That is where our problem is. YOU ACCEPTED MY OFFER, THEN ACCEPTED ANOTHER OFFER FOR $15 MORE, NEGATING MY OFFER. I am no idiot, I understand how bidding works. I also know what "obo" means. At the same time, I know that when you not only agree with and accept my offer, but also attempt to set up the means by which payment would be made, that consititutes a verbal agreement and you backed out of this one.

6.) Exactly, this statement was made after my second offer of $75. As soon as I got that message from you, I responded with an offer of your asking price plus shipping, did I not? You said ok, and went to set up your acct w/c2it so I could pay you, since that was my preferred method of payment. Did you not?

7.)I wish I could show you, but as I do all other im's that aren't needed(at least I "think" aren't needed), they got deleted. So since you have them, please post them w/o any edits and let's see who's wrong.
