I agree with totalimmortal...horrible idea.
I just deadened my doors and all is good now.
When I built I wasnt looking to win any comps, if I was then I would be winning comps
I just wanted a nice tight sound.
I'm AAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL about the SQ and in my experiance it is a better route.
I have heard peoples systems sound like CRAP because they thought the bigger the better.
In my case NOT TRUE, just looking to get the most bang (so to speak) for my buck, and I do appreciate all the responses for everything.
Just starting to learn about the differences between car and home audio(which I've been in for 6 years now) and the subtle little things make all the change.
We were ALL newbs at sometime, and its important that we keep that in mind to help out the next person.
Anyways what it all comes down to with audio is what matters to YOUR ear, what sounds good to 1 may sound like shit to another.
Just my own .02 and a half cents.
