Were talking about the coaxil not the sub. Who knows maybe a small enclosure will shape the response to what you like. Its tough to say for sure. If the panel its mounted to is well sealed from the interior space i wouldn't bother though. You could try building a small enclosure instead it would probably be better.

Of course for the sub its a bad idea.
