racecar? dont know cuz i've never had a racecar. daily? i have the 240 as a daily, but if i had to drive the evo every day, i'd probably be annoyed by it, not because of the commonly known cons of the car, but more so by the attention and looks the car garners aka people always trying to race you, other evo owners included, cops, ricers etc

very true, and since mitsu doesnt honor shit for warranties, you're usually going to have to do it yourself, hence all the non-stock evo's. no point in buying OEM stuff when aftermarket (better in most cases) parts are cheaper.

Very moddable
Big rear wing :chuckles:
Decent speed,handling, and gas mileage
Pretty comfortable (stock suspension)
Super stout motor (I beat the snot out of it daily)

Bad:
High maintenance
Rattles like a bisniatch
Reliability (my rear diff went out at 50k) for unknown reason

Overall decent car if you like to have fun, I got 65k on the car so far and it has treated me well. Oh yeah my ride is an lancer 8, I think the 9 is more refined and quicker.
The above is all true, but a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig turn off for me in general, is the mitsu dealer network. I'm sure that the Mazda dealers are much nicer all around (service, warranty, parts etc). Every time i go to a mitsu dealer, its not what I would call stellar service.

Here's my add on to NOPD's list and more specific for a DB owner

Pros:
Dual trip odometer
Less windnoise
Fading dome lights (theres two of them also)
Window roll down control after key is taken out of ignition
Backseat armrest (with cupholders built in)
Cupholders (front) that dont block your radio and can actually hold cups
Bigger trunk
The climate control knob isnt a stiff ass slider (any teg owner knows about this)
The AC blows far colder
The stereo acoustics in the car are way better (The factory EVO speakers [made by infiniti]powered by my 22rms x 4 Kenwood head unit sounds WAAAY better than my teg's infiniti component/6x9 powered by 60x4rms amp combo, but its also commonly known that integra acoustics are amongst the worst out there)
Brakes that hurt
Grip that hurts
OEM HID's (depending on model you get)
Stability at higher speeds (my teg let you know you were going 100mph) - 100 mph in the evo feels the same as 50 mph. that big ass wing and the aerodynamics actually work..
Steering rack ratio is waaay faster
Doors are more solid when closing (most likely due to the lack of window frames in DBs, but Evo door still more solid than DC)

Cons:
More drivetrain noise (transfer case is louud like whoa)
Shifting/Clutch timing way different (not as smooth as your gsr)
Turning radius is teh suck
Parts in general are more expensive
No cruise control
No lock on glovebox
No Acura/Honda caliber (not even close to the shittiest honda dealer) dealer service
Backseat doesnt fold down

Now to keep it relevant, I'm sure the MS3 has all those Pro's (minus the grip - FWD) and probably none of those cons...

I hope that list helps you out. i've edited it a few times as I remember more things specific to our DB's
