Everyone is different.

For me, I had all four out (3 were impacted). I took the Vicodin for that first day because I was told to. I really didn't have much pain out of the normal, so I didn't take any more pain killers. I was told to not play my trombone for 2 weeks afterward and I was playing 1 week after.

For my wife, she was in pain for like 3 weeks. She had to take Vicodin the entire time and was completely out of commission.
