Whoa dude, you don't have to be so harsh. I know some of the newer cars, for example the 2003 Nissan Frontier has a fire blanket type thing under the hood. Its held up there by plastic rivets which would melt in the case of an engine fire and the blanket would fall onto the engine itself smothering it and hopefully putting out the fire. Its probably not one of those but just thought I'd throw it out there.
