From the bottom.


Go to Wal-Mart and buy one of the hard plastic caps that goes on the end of your oil filter.

It slips on the end of it, and has a hole in it for your socket wrench to snap in, then you just take your wrench and turn counter-clockwise and it comes right off.

Much easier than them damn Oil Filter Wrenches (I never have enough room, and always hit the alternator and supports and stuff with the handle of those).

THe cap is a little black thing, that just goes on teh end of the filter.
