Where did I talk of double standards? I just said I think if someone who has been here a while posted the same concept, it would have gotten a different response, sans the grammar.

I already said you were right about that but it wasn't someone who has been here and your usual response to noobs is definitley not to defend them but rather to berate them so I pointed out the coincidence. Most people would call that a double standard
